Shabbat Can Do That.
Taking the ordinary to the extraordinary.
The Baltimore Shabbat Project (BSP) is a unique, grassroots Jewish identity movement that is partnering with the international Shabbos Project. First launched in South Africa in 2013, this global initiative spanned more than 913 cities last year, with over 1 million participating! Jewish people from all backgrounds and traditions came together to celebrate ONE Shabbat as ONE people with ONE heart.

We are Partners with The International Shabbos Project
The Shabbos Project is a unique, international grassroots Jewish identity movement that unites all Jews to keep one Shabbat together. The idea originated from Rabbi Goldstein, three years ago in South Africa, where the majority of the country’s diverse Jewish community joined together to observe a single Shabbat, most for the first time in their lives. By experiencing the magic of Shabbat, we can rejuvenate family and community life, ignite Jewish pride and identity, and build Jewish unity across the world!
